Dr. Sara Singh is certified with American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is an active member of Health Information and Management Systems Society. Dr. Singh has spent majority of her professional career in senior leadership roles in health care organizations providing strategic and operational leadership.
She is a dynamic team leader on clinical/health care programs, with over 15 years of experience growing and leading organizations and building innovative programs in challenging and complex environments. She is known for leading organizations providing strategic and operational leadership while working closely with team members to establish goals, strategies, plans and policies to grow the company and make it self-supporting and sustainable.
Dr. Singh initiated her Psychiatry residency at University of Virginia where she later transferred to the University of West Virginia to join a combined Internal Medicine and Psychiatry program. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Psychiatry at the West Virginia University CAMC hospital program serving as the Chief Resident of Internal Medicine and Psychiatry. After completing her residency, she joined Sheppard Pratt Health System and Frederick Memorial Hospital, a tertiary care center in the larger Washington D.C. metro area. A year later she pursued to start Medpsych Health Services.
Dr. Singh is board certified in Psychiatry & Neurology and Internal Medicine. She is part of the clinical staff at John Hopkins Medicine. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, Washington Psychiatric Society. She is a Fellow of American Psychiatric Association. She is now serving as a member of the WPS Advocacy Committee and is further honored to join the MPS-WPS Legislative Action Committee. She was selected as “America’s Top Psychiatrists” by Consumer’s Research Council of America in 2010.
