ASG Among the 31 Awardees for CMS’ $1.6B Health Care Quality Evaluation IDIQ
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services has awarded 31 companies and organizations spots on a potential 10-year, $1.6B contract to provide services for the Measure and Instrument Development and Support program.
Measure and Instrument Development and Support program aligns with CMS’ structured process, Measures Management System Blueprint, to create and maintain evidence-based measures.
The MIDS IDIQ contract has a five-year base term and five option years and covers measures program support, maintenance of evaluation instrument data systems, quality measures implementation and data collection vehicles.
Measure development and maintenance work under the IDIQ contract focuses on six quality priorities: safety; community health; caregiver- and individual-focused experience and outcomes; cost reduction and efficiency; care coordination; and clinical quality of care .
